Our Multimedia Learning Centres are open to all students of South Kent College for study and research, with the benefit of: An extensive library and study areas; computer bays with internet and student intranet access; local and national newspapers, professional magazines, cd-roms, etc.

Unique Hair and Beauty Salons

At South Kent College, we have our own UNIQUE Hair and Beauty salon on each campus, open to students, staff and to the public.

There is a large choice of treatments and services carried out by trainee stylists, beauty therapists and massage therapists under the full supervision of highly qualified teaching staff.

The Kingsnorth Restaurant

Refectory

Each campus at South Kent College has a refectory open to students and staff, where they can enjoy a wide choice of freshly prepared dishes cooked and served by fellow students in catering at irresistible prices.

Breakfast is served from 8.30 am and lunch from 11.30am.

These friendly outlets are open all day on each campus to offer a wide range of hot and cold snacks, sandwiches, salads, soups, crisps, fruit and drinks.

The Fitness Zone - Gym

Staying fit has never been easier!

The Fitness Zone is a well-equipped gym situated at the Folkestone campus of South Kent College open to students, staff and the general public.

It is now offering monthly membership from an unbelievable £14. For this price you get unlimited access to the gym facilities and free parking.

Advice and Guidance

South Kent College has a team of matrix-accredited Educational and Career Guidance Advisers in Ashford, Dover and Folkestone. They are at the disposal of prospective and current students to give them impartial, thorough, professional and FREE advice.

Pastoral Tutoring

At South Kent College, each student has a Pastoral Tutor. Students can discuss any problem with them, review their progress and plan for the next steps. Pastoral Tutors are part of a service designed to help students overcome all possible barriers to learning.

Hire our Facilities

At South Kent College we have spacious, bright and well equipped accommodation for you to hire.

Our meeting rooms can cater for up to 25 delegates boardroom style and 40 delegates theatre style. We also have computer suites equipped with PCs with a range of software packages and Internet access. Training on the various IT packages is available from the College. Alternatively you can hire our facilities for your own customised training programmes.

The majority of our rooms have overhead projector screens and whiteboards as standard. Additional equipment such as laptops, data projectors, televisions, video recorders and video cameras can be hired at extremely reasonable rates.
