Student Activities & Enrichment

Enjoying the social atmosphere, meeting new friends and having fun is an important part of student and College life! Our Student Activities and Enrichment Organisers and Our Student Union are always around with information on the latest trips, events, reviews, parties, sports teams as well as general information that helps to make a student's life a bit easier. Students will get details of what is going on from Student Activities' Noticeboards, a FREE monthly Newsletter available across the College and regular contact from our Student Activities Organisers at each campus.

Student Activities

Students have the opportunity to play in the Kent College's Student Association Leagues for football, basketball, netball, hockey and rugby for South Kent College. Other ongoing activities include:

The Student Union

The College has a Students' Union, which is run by a group of nominated students with various roles. These students are responsible for organising events for all students to participate in, finding out about what students want and bringing up any current issues that students have. The Student Union is free to join, and is a chance for you to have your say!

You can also join the National Union of Students (NUS) for a cost of £10. You receive a NUS card as soon as you enrol. The NUS Card is a nationally recognised student ID card that gains student discounts throughout the UK including 10% off at TopShop, TopMan, HMV, Habitat and 20% at Pizza Hut.
