How To Apply & Enrol for HE Courses

1. Advice & Guidance

Look through this website for details of the different courses on offer. We can help you with more information, advice and guidance with choosing a course. You can call in, telephone us or email us via our contact form. If you would like a detailed discussion with a Guidance Adviser, contact one our SKC Student Information Centres for an appointment. If you are not a British National and do not reside in the UK you can contact our International Team on (00 44) 1304 244356 (if calling from abroad) or email international@southkent.ac.uk for help in finding and applying for the right course for you.

2. Full time courses

To apply for full-time Higher Education Courses you can:

Apply direct to South Kent College
If you are only applying to study at South Kent College we will cover your UCAS fee. In this case, you should post your completed application form in an envelope (No stamp required): Admissions, outh Kent College, FREEPOST SEA 12991, Ashford TN23 4BR.

Apply through UCAS (The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service)
If applying through UCAS, you will need a UCAS pack, which includes an application form and handbook.These are available from UCAS at Rosehill, New Barn Lane, Cheltenham, Gloucester GL52 3LZ. Telephone 01242 223707. You can also apply on-line by visiting their website at www.ucas.ac.uk. If you are a current SKC student, you can get a pack from your SKC Student Information Centre. UCAS will accept applications for entry in the autumn term from 1 September preceding the start of your course. The first closing date for the receipt of applications is 15 December. As with many other institutions, the College will guarantee to consider your application after this date.

3. Part-time courses

To apply for part-time (non-UCAS) Higher Education or Access Courses you should:

Apply direct to South Kent College
You need to complete a South Kent College application form and post it in an envelope (No stamp required) to: Admissions, South Kent College, FREEPOST SEA 12991, Ashford TN23 4BR. Once your application form has been received, a letter will be sent to you either inviting you for an interview or offering you a place on the course.
