How to Apply

1. Choose your course and apply

If you need any help or advice, book an appointment with a Matrix-accredited Education and Career Guidance adviser by calling 0845 207 8220. It's a free and unbiased service.

If you are 16 years old and a school leaver, and you live in the Ashford, Dover or Shepway areas, you can apply online at www.kentchoices4u.com.

You will need to use the unlock code given at school or from Connexions. If you do not have an unlock code ask for one from your school careers teacher or Connexions personal adviser.

If you have any difficulty, you can download the SKC Application Form (PDF 1.75 MB) and follow the instructions below.
In any other case:
- Download the SKC Application Form (PDF 1.75 MB).
  
  If you want us to send you an application form use our contact enquiry form, call 0845 207 8220, or pop in to your local South Kent College campus reception.
- Print out the Application Form and complete it using a black or blue pen.
- Post your completed form to South Kent College (no need to stamp your envelope):

  You can also drop your application at one of the College's receptions in Ashford, Dover or Folkestone.

2. Confirmation of receipt

South Kent College will send you a confirmation that your application has been received, even if you have applied through www.kentchoices4u.com

3. Interview and offer of place

South Kent College will write to you to invite you for an interview or to offer a place on the course.

If you have a query on your application, you can contact us at any time.

4. Enrolment and start date

You will be invited to come to College and enrol before the start of your course. Please make sure you bring all necessary documents with you.

International Student Applications

If you are an international student originating outside of the EU you need to download, print and complete the Overseas Fee Assessment Questionnaire (PDF 39 KB), then return it along with the SKC Application Form (PDF 1.75 MB) to: Admissions, South Kent College, Shorncliffe Road, Folkestone, Kent, CT20 2TZ, UNITED KINGDOM.
