If English is not your first language, you may benefit from an ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) course. It will help you improve your English and get more out of your life in the U.K., for instance:
ESOL courses help students develop their English skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing.
ESOL courses are open to home students. Home students are:
If you are not a home student, you may also be accepted into the course, but you may have to pay fees for overseas students.
ESOL courses are offered at many different levels from complete beginner to Level 2 Higher Intermediate. Students will be assessed to determine their level before the start of their course. All courses lead to a Cambridge Skills for Life Certificate.
ESOL courses last for 10 weeks and start in September, January and April. They are delivered during the day (part-time) or in the evening in Ashford or Folkestone.
